Public Sector

Comet Business Services has been working with Public Sector Procurement Managers for over 20 years, providing value for money with our Public Sector Discount card. We’ve been a leading supplier and supporter of the OGC Buying Solutions Retail Trade Framework.

As a result of Comet Business Services’ proposition and work, the Office of Government Commerce, Buying Solutions and other Public Sector departments have identified Comet Business Services as a key supporter of ongoing procurement initiatives. Subsequently we were approached by a number of leading Central Government Procurement offices to participate in the development of a new retail trade framework which will deliver even bigger savings and more efficiencies for Public Sector Procurement Managers. It is hoped that the new framework will be available early 2010.

That’s not all. Comet Business Services’ commitment to Public Sector procurement doesn’t stop there. We recognise that there is no one-size-fits-all procurement method within Public Sector; that’s why we’ve joined the Zanzibar Supplier Agreement. This means that our outstanding level of service and wide range of products can be accessed by many more Central and Local Government departments. To learn more about Zanzibar, simply click here.
