The Twin cooling system uses two individual evaporators that generate cooling air into the fridge and freezer independently, so food keeps its natural fresh flavour for longer.
- Maintaining freshness - Since cold air from the freezer compartment does not travel to the fridge compartment, a high humidity level of 43% can be maintained in the fridge allowing you to keep your vegetables fresh & crisp.
- No mixing of odours -Since cooling air does not move across the freezer & fridge compartments, there is no odour transfer.
CoolSelect Zone
A fridge within a fridge, CoolSelect Zone allows you to select the temperature to meet your storage needs at the touch of a button.
- Quick Cool Mode - At -11°C, you can have cold beverages whenever you want.
- Soft freeze Mode - At -5°C, you can have the perfect solution for storage of meat, poultry and fish so that they can be stored for a longer period of time while remaining firm enough to be easily sliced.
- 0 Zone - At 0°C, food receives optimal humidity that helps maintain and extend optimal freshness, and preserving taste.
- Cool Mode - At -4°C, fruit & vegetables retain maximum freshness and crispness because of the optimal humidity level.

- No more chronic shrivelling of vegetables or loss of energy and spoiled groceries. With a single compressor and twin evaporators, Samsung's unique Twin Cooling Plus can monitor and control the temperature of the refrigerator and freezer compartments separately.
- The status of each compartment is constantly monitored and cooling air is adjusted accordingly to where it is needed most, reducing energy consumption while maintaining humidity. Since cold dry air from the freezer compartment does not travel to the fridge compartment, fresh & crisp fruits or vegetables don't dry out.
- A high humidity of 75% can be maintained, allowing you to keep your vegetables deliciously fresh for longer.
