When we deliver a new appliance, or a large TV, our home delivery team will take away your old appliance and make sure it's properly recycled. We will make sure your old appliance is disposed of in a legal and environmentally friendly way. You can choose this option in the check out.
We're also a member of the Government's WEEE DTB Scheme (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Distributor Take Back). You can see our WEEE compliance certificate here. You don't even have to buy from us - if you've got an old appliance to get rid of, we'll take it away for £19.95. Just call us on 0844 800 95 95 and select options 1 and 1 again to arrange a collection.
How can I recycle?
If you've got a small portable item to recycle, or can move your old appliance yourself, first, you should make sure your old electronics can be recycled. To do this, just look for the crossed out wheelie bin symbol on the packaging or product. This means you should either send the product to be repaired and reused, or take it to your local recycling facility.
The staff there will make sure everything is disposed of responsibly in a way that doesn't affect the environment. There is no charge for this service.
Recycling your old mobile
We've teamed up with money4mymobile.com to help you recycle your mobile and get money for it at the same time. To get started, just go to our mobile recycling site.

Working handsets will often be sold to developing countries where mobile phones are fast becoming the number one form of communications. If your phone isn’t working, as many components as possible will be recovered to be re-used. Anything else is recycled in accordance with the WEE directive.
