This is Comet's new online instant messaging service. It allows you to 'chat' live with one of our product experts online who will be able to provide advice and answer any questions you may have.
Whenever you see the Click and Chat buttons below, click to receive instant online advice:
A window will open (see picture, right) where you can type in your question and press send. One of our product experts will then introduce themselves and answer your question. This is a real person not a computer or robot. They are available to answer any further questions you may have and to provide advice to help you find the right product for you.
Tip - if you've not used an online messenger before try not to write too much before you press send – you will find it will speed things up if you send things through in smaller chunks.
You can exit the conversation any time you wish and continue browsing the site by pressing close. If you do find something you like and you want to make a purchase you can do so in the normal way. Simply close the window and proceed.
Where is it located on the website?
The button can be found at the top right hand side of plasma and LCD TV, washing machine, dishwasher, refrigeration and tumble dryer category and product pages. Simply click on the button to chat to a real person
Our Click & Chat facility is available 7 days a week between the hours:
- Monday to Friday 9am to 8pm
- Saturday 9am to 6pm
- Sunday 9am to 5pm

Currently we are trialing this on areas of the site mentioned above.
