Unopened Products

If item is still in a sealed box a full refund or an exchange is guaranteed for customers returning products within 28 days of purchase . If the Item is portable simply return the product with your receipt to the local store and we will credit you with a gift card or offer you a full refund.

If you wish to return a large product, you should contact Comet customer services for help and advice on 08705 425 425 option 4.

Open & Unused Products

Under 7 working days

If you have already opened the box and purchased via comet.co.uk or over the telephone, under the UK Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order within seven working days from the day we deliver your order.
Note: You must notify Comet within this time period.

If the product is portable, simply return the product with your receipt to the local store and we will credit you with a gift card or offer you a full refund. If you wish to return a large product, you should contact Comet customer services for help and advice on 08705 425 425 option 4.
We cannot accept cancellations and return of pre-recorded videos, DVD, audio, video game or software products if the seal has been broken.

Note: Refunds will be processed via the method in which the goods were initially paid for.

If you have already opened the box, but product is in pristine condition and unused , return the product with your receipt within 28 days of purchase or 14 days if it’s a desktop or laptop computer, and we can offer you the following two options:

Re-stocking Fee
If you return everything unused and complete, along with original packaging, we will deduct 10% to cover the cost of re-stocking, up to a maximum of £99.

Gift Card Credit
Alternatively we can credit you in full, on to a Comet Gift card.
Note: we are unable to accept any products that have been used or returned with missing parts such as remote controls, instruction manuals etc.

Damaged Products

If you have collected your product from the store and discover any sign of damage, please do not use the product. Just contact us immediately on 08705 425 425 option 4.

Faulty Products

Faulty products within the Manufacturer's guarantee period will be repaired for free by a Comet approved engineer upon production of a receipt for proof of purchase.
If you are returning a faulty portable product, you should return it to your nearest Comet store, who will arrange for the product to be inspected. If the product is faulty, the store will explain the various options available to you. If you wish to return a large item or a Laptop, you should contact Comet customer services for help and advice. If for any reason we can't repair it, we'll offer you an exhange or full refund. Manufacturer's conditions may apply. The guarantee is in addition to these rights that you have as a consumer and accordingly your statutory rights are not affected.
