If you've a problem with a product we'll do everything we can to help.

For a start all our electrical products come with a minimum of 12 months manufacturer's guarantee, so if your product breaks within that time we'll repair it for free. If for any reason we can't repair it, we'll offer you an exchange or a full refund.

If you think your product has a fault here's what to do:

  • Check the troubleshooting section of its manual to see if it can easily be fixed.

If that doesn't help follow these steps:

  • For computers, anything digital and vacuum cleaners try contacting the manufacturer's helpline.
  • For laundry products, fridges, cooking products and TVs over 21" call our UK Customer Support Centre on 08705 425 425.
    We'll try to help you fix the problem over the phone - it's surprising how often this works.
    If we can't fix it we'll arrange for one of our engineers to pop round.
  • For all other products just take it into your local Comet store. The Customer Help Desk team will test it and either send it away for repair or exchange it (subject to the guarantee).

If your product is outside Manufacturer's guarantee but has Total Product Cover or Instant Replacement Cover, please refer to the claims process set out in your Policy documentation or click here for more detail

If you product does not have Total Product Cover or the Manufacturer's guarantee has expired don't worry we can still repair it.
