'Access keys' are shortcuts that help you move round a website.
We use ones based on the recommended UK Government access keys: -

You can store the keys in your web browser. Just follow the instructions for the browser you use:
Internet Explorer:
Hold down the "Alt" key, press the access key, release both keys and press "Enter".
Mozilla, Firefox (PC):
Hold down the "Alt" key and press the access key
Mozilla, Firefox (MAC):
Hold down the "Ctrl" key and press the access key
Safari, Omniweb (MAC):
Hold down the "Ctrl" key and press the access key listed
Opera:
Hold down the "Shift" key and press "Escape", release both keys, then press the access key.
Here’s an example for Internet Explorer.
Press and hold the 'Alt' key, press the '4' key, release both keys and press "Enter".
Using access keys, you can quickly go back to this page. Just press the keys above and the key '0'.
